Two (2) liquid cooled X-Type Rolls-Royce Vulture 24 Cylinder. 4 banks of 6 cylinders each mounted at 90 degrees (forming an X) on a common crankcase. Driving the propeller through a 0.35:1 reduction gear.
Engine weight: 1,800 lbs (816.5 Kg)
2,592 Cubic inches (42.49 litres).
Each cylinder consisting of a 5 inch bore with 5.5" stroke, four valves, operated by overhead camshafts. 2 spark plugs.
