Formed in No. 4 Group and became operational in as a squadron June 1941. Most of the squadron was transferred to the Middle East in July 1942 being absorbed into other units upon its arrival. What remained of the squadron in England however was eventually reinforced and continued operationally within No 4 Group until the end of the war | |||||||
