Formed in the Middle East during September 1942, but lost its identity in March 1944 probably after being absorbed into another unit or possibly due to disbandment. Reformed in England under No. 4 Group on 12 August 1944 and operated continuously as a bomber squadron within the group until being transferred to No. 100 (Bomber Support) Group in December 1944. Operated for the balance of the war as a radio counter-measures (RCM) squadron | |||||||
