Formed with in No. 5 Group on 19 December 1941 before being transferred to No. 4 Group in August 1942. Transferred to the newly formed No. 6 Group, RCAF in January 1943. Detached to the Middle East in May 1943, but returned to England and No. 6 Group, RCAF in November 1943; where the squadron remained operational in a bombing role until the end of the war | |||||||
