A Free French squadron which operated in Africa and the Middle East from December 1941 through early 1943. Posted to No. 2 Group in England in early 1943 and began conversion to Boston’s. However the conversion process was not completed and the squadron flew no operations with Bomber Command due to the entire Group being transferred to the 2nd Tactical Air Force and remainder operational until the end of the war | |||||||
