Initially a Coastal Command squadron stationed in France and in Northern Ireland the squadron was posted to No. 2 Group in May 1941; where it became a bomber squadron. Continued in this role until the squadron along with the all of No. 2 Group was transferred out of Bomber Command in May 1943 | |||||||
