Operated as a bomber squadron in East and North Africa, and Italy, finally losing its identity in August 1944, when it was either absorbed into another unit or possibly disbanded. Reformed in England and attached to No. 100 (Bomber Support) Group as a radio counter-measures squadron in August 1994 mainly from ex-Coastal Command air crew. Continued to operate in this role until the end of the war | |||||||
