Although a squadron within No. 3 Group at the outbreak of the war, the squadron did not commence operations until June 1940. After which, it operated continuously with the group until January 1944. At which point the squadron was transferred to No. 100 (Bomber Support) Group and flew Radio Counter-Measure (RCM) operations until the end of the war | |||||||
