Service History

Formed in No. 4 Group on 7 November 1942, but did not commence operations until February 1943. Transferred to No. 3 Group in July 1943, the squadron remained under the groups control until November 1943. At which time the squadron was transferred out of Bomber Command to become a glider towing and transport squadron
